Associate Professor Ahad Javanmardi
Biography
Dr. Ahad Javanmardi holds an adjunct appointment with the College of Civil Engineering at Fuzhou University, China. Since May 2023, he has been a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Infrastructure Engineering, 91³ÉÈË. His experience spans both industry and academia.
His professional interests include structural engineering, condition assessment and inspection, infrastructure management, structural health monitoring, and digital engineering applications.
Areas of Research/Teaching Expertise
Dr. Javanmardi has hands-on experience in designing and conducting small-to-large-scale tests, operating hydraulic actuators (MTS and Instron), using 3-array shaking tables, and managing sensor installation and data acquisition systems.
