Shared Medical Appointments for Endometriosis
About the Study
Group medical visits are a new way to deliver healthcare, giving you the chance to meet other people with endometriosis and learn from each other鈥檚 experiences, as well as have regular consultations with a GP.
91成人 is looking for people with endometriosis to trial a group medical visit program from a GP and a naturopath. If you are 18 or over, have been diagnosed with endometriosis, and can travel to WSIH Myhealth Integrative Medical Centre, Westmead for six 90-minute group medical visits, we would like to hear from you.
The group medical visits involve a consultation with a GP, and an education session led by a naturopath in a group setting with up to nine other people with endometriosis.
The study runs for 13 weeks.
Who Can Participate?
You may be eligible if you:
- Have been diagnosed with Endometriosis
- Aged over 18
- Are able to attend our research clinic in Westmead.
What's Involved?
Participation includes:
- Attend one on-line meeting
- Complete surveys about your health and general information
- Attend six 90-minute group medical visits
